Venquis Addresses Critical Talent Gaps for PPL

PPL was founded to digitise and streamline the placement process for London’s insurance market, a traditionally paper-heavy industry. By 2015, PPL were in the process of developing its ‘First Gen’ ePlacing platform but needed highly specialised talent to bring the project to life.

Venquis partnered with PPL from the outset to provide a fully tailored staffing solution. By leveraging Venquis’ screening technology, they ensured PPL received the right specialists for both phases of the platform’s development.  

In 2015, Venquis sourced vital roles such as Business Analysts, Architects, Testers, and Product Owners, setting the foundation for the First Gen platform’s success. 

For the ‘Next Gen’ build in 2020, Venquis swiftly assembled a new, agile programme team that allowed PPL to meet the demands of a pandemic-driven market. Despite incredibly tight deadlines, Venquis was able to deliver contract workers within 24 hours. This ensured the project stayed on track, eventually earning PPL the title of ‘saviours of the London market.’
