The System Integrator is concerned with the organisation, management and control of systems aimed at IT and Peripheral Systems within Public Transport, with the mission of integrating payment methods, passenger information and fleet management.
You work on a tactical level in a team of specialists in Peripheral Systems, such as passenger information and fleet management, traffic control installations, voice and data traffic to and from the vehicle, the timetable and interfaces. You report directly to the CIO. In addition, you are responsible for managing external contacts with regard to setting up, evaluating and maintaining supplier contacts in collaboration with the Contract Manager.
You communicate with all parties involved about solutions and progress regarding diverse interests and goals, priorities and allocation of resources, and choices regarding hardware, infrastructure and software.
You should also think of setting up and discussing management and KPI reports. As a System Integrator you are responsible for meeting the requirements of the security rules and certification standards, such as ISO, Automotive, AVG and PCI. In the first instance you will work on integrating more modern payment methods into current structures, from software configuration to turnover reports, translating business requirements into functional architecture; organizing integral designs and finally testing and implementation.
