Responsibilities

• Strategic Technology Roadmap Design:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap that standardizes a CI/CD pipeline, ensuring consistent and efficient delivery of technology solutions across the organization.
• Lead Architect on Complex Projects:
  • Act as the Lead Architect on larger, complex Client Management transformational projects, driving design-first principles and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Implementation of Design-First Principles:
  • Implement and advocate for design-first principles to ensure all technology solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the overall architectural vision.
• Collaboration with Product Owners:
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to identify opportunities for standardization and improvement, facilitating alignment across different teams and projects.
• Comprehensive EA Landscape Management:
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of the Enterprise Architecture landscape, ensuring it supports the strategic objectives and operational needs of the public transport operator.

By fulfilling these roles and responsibilities, the Enterprise Architect will ensure that the public transport operator’s technology landscape is robust, efficient, and aligned with its strategic goals, thereby enhancing overall operational effectiveness and service delivery.

Competences

• High-Level Subject Matter Expert:
  • Serve as the go-to expert for enterprise architecture, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. With a track record of designing solutions for complex technical problems.
• Standardization and Consistency:
  • Work closely with Product Owners to establish and enforce standardization across development teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to technology and process implementation.
• Enterprise Architecture Technology Development:
  • Directly support the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance the organization’s architectural capabilities. Experience with any of the following cloud service AWS.
• Ownership of EA Landscape:
  • Design and establish comprehensive ownership of the Enterprise Architecture landscape, ensuring all systems and technologies align with the strategic vision and operational needs of the organization.
• Guidance Across Development, Application, Infrastructure, and Operations:
  • Provide continuous guidance and support to development, application, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of all technology solutions. Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is essential.

Additional requirements

• Minimum HBO / WO level
• Minimum SAFE certificate or similar experience
• Demonstrably tech-savvy within a complex IT landscape
• 2 years of experience as an architect
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing in Dutch and English

Salary indication

• Base salary : €75 000,00- 95 000,00 / year based on 40h/week, including holiday pay and 13th month
