Data Migration Lead (Role Placed) 

Due to our international growth ambition, we are looking for a Data Migration Lead being responsible for the data migrations activities within future Flow! roll outs . Flow! is a Microsoft Dynamics 365 based ERP suite, combining with best of breed applications for specific domains. We are replacing the existing legacy environments within the different Kiwa companies by this Flow! platform. Are you the Data Migration Lead that we are looking for?

Migrating data from legacy applications to the new Flow! platform is an essential part of the program and your role. You will be working in multidisciplinary teams that exist of functional consultants, technical consultants, software engineers, data owners, data stewards and local data migration coordinators, to deliver migration results fast and in short cycles. The migration team consists of resources from Global ICT and Business stakeholders. This team delivers the solution in incremental steps with a strong connection to the tools and techniques provided to the end-users.

The role will transition over time to being the future data-architect for Kiwa. Helping Kiwa to become a more data-centric organization.

Role overview

As an experienced Data Migration Lead, you function well in an international and highly dynamic working environment and know exactly how to help improve the migration readiness of the organization. You ensure a success delivery of our global and local initiatives in the migration projects. You will be working in the Corporate ICT team in Rijswijk as a Senior Data Migration Lead. This team is typically sized with highly skilled and educated people. You will be in the lead for all data-migrations.

Key factors of success

  • Intake: analyze and align migration approach for a (team) Flow! roll out
  • Plan and prepare migration steps and activities (cross-team alignment)
  • Coordinating and monitoring migration activities
  • Act as single point of contact towards stakeholders
  • Mentor & coach data migration team members and other stakeholders
  • Troubleshooting migration issues
  • Knowledge sharing and support towards the Flow! program director and the wider community
  • Improve and standardize migration process, automate where feasible
  • Define and align on improvement of capabilities needed

Education and Experience 

  • University degree in Software Engineering or IT;
  • Strong professional experience in Data Migration (7+ years)
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 & Power Platform is ideal
  • Good understanding of different business processes and related data objects
  • (Master) Data management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing, CRM, ERP and Fields service applications
  • Project management skills
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Azure Data Factory is a plus
  • Secure development knowledge
